Some History....
Jon lost his job back in March. Needless to say, it was a rough time for us. Already behind on bills and mortgage, it went from bad to worse and we were about to loose our house. We remained optimistic that God would see us through this time, and placed all of our options before Him. It was during this time while driving down the road with the family that I had this vision:
We were in an RV of some sort (me, Jon, and all three kids). On the side of the RV it said "The Big Fish". The end of the RV opened like a mouth and we all tumbled out onto the ground. Immediately we stood up, Bibles in hand and began ministering to those around us.
My sense from this was, that like Jonah, when he was spit out of the big fish he went strait to Nineveh and began speaking the words of God to the people. He didn't stop to eat or bath (imagine what he smelled like!!!). I felt like God was showing me his plan. It doesn't matter what happens to us, or where we are; when we are spit out, get up, and do my work. So that's what we are doing. We used our last bit of money to buy an older RV. Jon is a Catastrophe Insurance Adjuster. That takes us all over the place. This is our journey, trying to do God's work, wherever we are "dumped"!
